"Just pretend that you married me, and um..."

According to Abby, the best thing about having a little brother is the fact that you can force him to pretend to be Prince Charming whenever you want.

Exhibit A:

Abby has croup today, by the way, and is absolutely miserable. I hate it when my kids are sick. I'm praying they don't all come down with it.

  1. Sorry about the croup! I'm sure that is just icing on the cake right now.

The best part of Emma telling Jake to do these things is that he does it. Gotta love it.

  2. ACK. Do they still make you sit in the steamy bathroom with them for croup?

  3. Yip, a steamy bathroom or cool night air. Not much else they will do, unless it gets so bad that their lips turn blue - then its the ER and steroid treatments.

  4. That's quite some fancy dancing and spinning. And I love how Prince Charming showed up for the ball in his diaper. :-)

  5. Wow, Emma's got some moves. Jake's not bad himself. That was really cute.
I'm so sorry to hear Emma's sick. My kids are sick too. It is no fun.

  6. Sooooo CUTE! Emma dances soooooo GOOD! I love how she tells him what to do. Julia always makes the little girl I babysit be the "daddy"- its such a second class citizen role. How lucky Emma is to have a brother!

  7. Sorry to hear your daughter is sick. I stopped by just to thank you for your comment on FMH (

    Thank you.

  8. Chareth - thank you for letting me know that. It's a hard topic, that's for sure...

Emma is quite the fancy dancer, isn't she?

  9. That clip is so darned cute. Why is it that the younger sibs ALWAYS do what the bigger ones tell them "Then you say that I am wonderful." "You are wonderful." Hold onto that one until they decide that they can't stand each other...

    Awww...
My sister must have been pretty upset to find out I was a girl when I was born.
